Calling all daycares, summer camps, preschools, etc, to join us this summer on Wednesday mornings for a free kids’ event. Join us at Mahaffie on July 4th and experience Independence Day like you were in 1860!

Olathe Red, White, & Blue- July 4th Fireworks Display

Spectators can listen to music timed to the fireworks display.

July 9th - 1860s Firework Display

Thanks to support from the Mahaffie Foundation, this event is FREE to attend!

Stagecoach rides are $3/person, you must be in line by 8:30 p.m. to receive a ride. 

Parking is available at the Heritage Center and at the Olathe Community Center. The Knights of Columbus will be in the lots to direct traffic.

We're open from 6 to 10 p.m. The theme this week is 1860s Fireworks. You must be on the grounds to be able to view the fireworks display.

You are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic. Please leave pets at home.

*Activities and schedule are subject to change.

*Purchase activity tickets in the Heritage Center using cash, check or credit card. Activity tickets are non-refundable but can be used for other Thursday night activities. Each activity ticket is $1. Cash is also accepted at activity stations requiring fees.
